Polish Armorial in English language

In   2015   we   ran   our   first   Kickstarter   campaign   to   publish   an   English   language   version   of   Zernicki's   Polish Armorial. We did not get the traction we wanted. Maybe a project for the future? The original source In   1904,   Emilian   von   Zernicki-Szeliga   published   a   series   of   books   about   the   Polish   nobility   including   a   230- page   book   listing   some   185   Polish   coats-of-arms,   with   their   descriptions   and   individual   legends.   The   most important   families   associated   with   each   coat-of-arms   were   mentioned   by   name.   To   date,   this   is   one   of   the few books about Polish heraldry available to people who do not speak Polish. Zernicki-Szeliga,   Emilian   Die   polnischen   Stammwappen:   ihre   Geschichte   und   Sage.   Verlag   Henri   Grand 1904.

This time round we would like to do things differently: * we would like to speak with potential backers before launching * we plan to publish both an English as well as German version to attract a wider audience * we have finalised the design aspects of the artwork * we have reset and formatted the German version of the new Armorial * there will be three mediums of each language armorial (ebook of standard edition at 100 dpi, printed standard edition at 300dpi, printed colour luxury edition at 300dpi) * we have found the printing company that will print the books (in order to manage the cost side of the project) * backers will be in a position to buy exclusive "merchandising" (for lack of a better word) whose profits will go toward backing the translation project All rights reserved $0,00    ,00
